I am a self-exploration guide and workshop facilitator, sound bath facilitator, breathwork journey guide, and yoga instructor. My goal is to support folks in deepening their relationship with Self by continuously drawing the senses inward, using breath, sound, and somatic sensation as their guides.

It is my belief that the path to wellness is winding and multifaceted. It can feel messy and fruitless. In my experience, it’s not until we can fully see and meet ourselves exactly where we are, with mindful compassion, that we begin to experience wholeness. In those moments, however brief, we are fully embodied. When we can gaze with love into our shadows, we awaken a powerful potential for acknowledgment, compassionate witnessing, integration, and transformation.

I’ll be the first to tell you that you need nothing outside of yourself to be whole. Still, there are practices that can help soften or enhance our experiences and create space for expansion as we peel back layers. The tools I offer are merely pathways for opening, experiencing, and integrating. They are meant to be helpmates, catalysts even, but not saviors. I offer these modalities knowing they have supported me in going deeper, enriching my life, gaining insight, and expanding.

Working with me offers a grounded, heart-centered space to reconnect with your inner landscape, listen deeply, and remember that healing and wholeness have always lived within you. Through the blend of breath, sound, movement, and mindful awareness, I hold a compassionate container that supports your unfolding at your own pace and in your own way.

PROJECTS, OFFERINGS, FACILITATION

EXPANSIVE BREATHWORK JOURNEY GUIDE, MAY 2024 - CURRENT

Providing space for breathers to ground, orient and center upon arrival by offering tea and fruit with time for participants to get comfortable in the studio space. We begin our journey with introductions. We then bring the focus inward and open up the body with light movement focusing specifically on lung capacity and expansion. Afterwards, I guide journeyers through 60 minutes of Conscious Connected Breathwork accompanied by an intentionally curated playlist. I offer optional hands-on supportive touch, invitations to engage in breath holds to enhance one’s experience and opportunities for toning for added energetic release. We end our time together with an extended savasana and an optional group sharing circle and/or individual journaling. Folks are encouraged to have more tea and snacks post journey to help with integration. I also cover post-journey integration techniques for the coming days/weeks following the session.

WE ARE HER SURVIVOR RETREAT, JUNE 2024

Prepared and presented information on Expansive Breathwork to Domestic Violence survivors and staff in order to prepare them for their first experience with continuous intentional breathing. I offered and held one-on-one check ins with any participants who wanted to discuss the coming journey, contraindications and past trauma history privately and/or more in depth. I provided an overview of the potential benefits, common somatic experiences during session and contraindications; and, followed up with a question and answer session before guiding a group of 14 through a 60 minute breathwork journey.

WE ARE HER SURVIVOR RETREAT, AUGUST 2023

Designed and facilitated three 90 minute workshops: (1) Intro to Breath; (2) Energetic Flow, Body Awareness & Movement; and, (3) Trauma Informed Yoga. The intention of these workshops was to engage and support participants in the exploration of breath and body awareness; encourage them in intentionally engaging their breath as body sensation increased; support them in connecting to their body in ways that felt safe yet intimate; and, get them thinking about what it means for them to reclaim and transform their energy.

YOGA, SOUND BATH AND MEDITATION, APRIL 2023 - MONTHLY OFFERING

Provide a safe and calming space for participants to access a deeper level of connection to Self; release stagnant energy and “tune up” chakra centers by way of a body, breath and sound experiences. This monthly offering brings together the elements of body (postures), breath (conscious connected breathing, pranayama breathing and breath focused meditation) and sound (crystal singing bowls) to allow for a more acute focus on encouraging energy to move through and be released from the body.

GROUP SELF EXPLORATION WORKSHOPS

These workshops are centered in self-care and self-discovery. By implementing the trifecta of Openness, Curiosity and Compassion, I support women in meeting each part of themselves, as best they can, without judgement - only reverence (the highest respect) and a willingness to allow what is to exist without harshness so that what is meant to be may be born out of love, not shame.

GROUP SELF EXPLORATION (ADULT), 2016 - 2020

Created space for women to bond and discuss daily challenges in a solution based environment. Provide a safe space for women to practice vulnerability and explore ideas of self worth and self care in a group setting with like minded women. Coached women in mindfulness and support them in building a toolkit for managing stress.

SELF EXPLORATION WORKSHOPS AT FOREST RIDGE SCHOOL OF THE SACRED HEART, 2018 - 2019

Worked with teaching staff and high school director to develop a series of workshops for girls 9th - 12th grade centered in self-care, self-discovery, defining success and perfectionism. Designed and facilitated workshops around agency and authenticity, building connections, setting boundaries, consent and integrity.

STAFF FACILITATOR TRAINING: FOREST RIDGE SCHOOL OF THE SACRED HEART, 2018 - 2019

Provided facilitator training focused on navigating difficult or *courageous* conversations. Facilitated teacher and staff training on self-awareness, managing emotions under pressure with the fundamentals of facilitation in an approachable and easily adaptable manner.
